Just found this old wire crafts in my cupboard, it reminded me 3 to 4years back that my first time doing wire crafts with William Lee (http://www.bigeyedog.com) in dinner and dance for pre-event. I remember William had prepared the materials and I am assisting him to do some simple wire twisting. Due to the wrong wire we bought, which it those extra thick and hard type, both of us were exhausted after the show. I told myself this is my last time doing wire crafts and won’t do it anymore in future, haahaa!Wire crafts are not a popular item in 4 years ago in the event compare with caricature or other fringe arts. With the effort of William Lee’s promotion, it became a popular item nowadays. I would say William Lee is a ‘New Generation Hero of Wire Craft Art” in the events circle!
Due to the markets demand, more wire crafts artists for the event’s fringe art activities were required, Ivan and Lee Lee (http://sg-airbrushtattoo.blogspot.com/2008/05/wire-art.html)is another Wire Crafts artists I met very often in the events. I would say they are very creative because their wire crafts are having neon and luminous effect! very nice and unique! Thought is very suitable in dim light events especially like Pubs and etc.
2 more quality wire crafts artists I met often are Jonie Tan and Madam Tang. Jonie Tan and Madam Tang was doing wire crafts art for sell in bazaar many years ago.
Madam Tang's artworks.(http://www.talentsdata.8m.com/tangsart.htm)
As an ambidextrous caricaturist, I do caricature drawing since 1990 in Singapore. Einstien from Norway is the pioneer caricaturist with certain years before me, then follow by Eric Ng, Saik, Poon Ee Way whose were my senior. Chong Jit Leong, which known having shop at Yishun area doing full time portrait and caricature around that time as well if not wrong. Not much people doing caricature for events fringe art during that period. Nowadays, more than 22 active caricaturists in the industry.

Sue’s Wax Hand Art
That was great to meet Sue Ng (http://www.waxhandunion.com/sue.html) during in the event. Thought I know Sue Ng, the Wax Hand artist about 5 years ago. Her ‘Wax Hand’ products were very unique in the event and gifts market in Singapore. During the process of this item, the guest can one hold his/her hand in ‘Victory’ V shape, then Sue or her helper will hold your posed had in to different portion of this liquid wax container, while the wax stick on your hand in your desirable shape up to certain level, Sue or her assistant will remove this hand shape of yours and do the final process in this ‘wax hand’ of you! What a unique souvenir!
Caricature Shrink Art Keychain
Caricature on shrink art is an unique item that the event supplier engage us to do the drawing the guests in a special piece of plastic and then the helper will put this piece of drawn plastic in a toaster to have a quick toast; with the heat of the toaster, the art piece will be shrink down about 70% and became very hard, yet the helper will bind it with a keychain, and it became a very personal keychain for the guest.
These items had been runs in the market few years ago, quite number of event companies and clients asking for their event. For my case, I only engaged by the event supplier to do the caricature, I did not supplied any drawing material and equipment, because since it is an unique item, which the special plastic is exclusively imported from overseas, we are hardly get it from the market down here, if you can find it, it was in an expensive price.
To do this item, you need 1 caricaturist and 1 helper to toast the art piece and bind it in with the keychain, hence two man power was required.

Ivan and Lee Lee’s Airbrush Tattoo and Body Painting
Although I had met Airbrush Tattoo artists during the event like Warren, Ken, Gabriel, Lezard, Sheela, Zai, Rae Muthu and etc, Ivan and Lee Lee were the most often airbrush tattoo artist whom I met in the events recent years while I in-charge doing Silhouette Cutting or Caricature drawing.
I felt great that Ivan and Lee Lee given me a chance to work with them in their latest Body painting project! I felt that they are really kind and caring persons; they always taking care of the models and the helpers and carefully follow the instruction and requirement of the clients.Body painting, doesn’t mean you had an air compressor, air gun and the painting inks then you can do; besides that, you need to do a lots of research, having good knowledge in body painting inks, sense of arts, you techniques in handling the indicated designs, the necessary accessories like the props that needed to wear by the models .....so many things you need to put under considerations, lots preparations to be done!
