There many free fringe activities and free food in the event as well as magic shows, orchestra music performance by students etc.
There are having fireworks at the end of the event ;p
As an ambidextrous caricaturist, I do caricature drawing since 1990 in Singapore. Einstien from Norway is the pioneer caricaturist with certain years before me, then follow by Eric Ng, Saik, Poon Ee Way whose were my senior. Chong Jit Leong, which known having shop at Yishun area doing full time portrait and caricature around that time as well if not wrong. Not much people doing caricature for events fringe art during that period. Nowadays, more than 22 active caricaturists in the industry.
I noticed that especially happened since early 2009 till now, regardless whether the artists are using marker as medium, pencil as medium and so ford, the style of caricature during live event drawing not as big different as the year before 2009.
Maybe all of us should do something about it to make the world more interesting.
He is very creative and talented! The most important thing was the way and prop of his performance was real original! You can see his youtube capture at:
Look! He can use his leg to grab the calligraphy brushes to write, one hand holding 2 calligraphy brushes to write and having lots more special writing unique skills!
That’s what I talking about. This calligrapher is Mr Tan, sometimes you can see him doing busking at Ang Mo Kio Central area.
As an ambidextrous, I did not feel special proud or can be arrogant some sort, because drawing or writing using two hands, just a very common matters, as common as like this world having twins, those people who having 6 fingers in each of their hands etc.Anyone also can be draw or write using both hands simultaneously as long as they willing to train themselves.
