Event at Orchard Road Area

Did Caricature for dinner and dance at Orchard area last week. That was really crowded at Orchard due to so many people going to see the decoration at Orchard and feel the atmosphere or the Christmas Season at Orchard Road.A busker playing his music instrument.Some of my works during the event.

Orchard Road Scene

Passing by Orchard Road last Saturday and seen this men doing his performance. He had been doing it for more than 5 years in Orchard Road if I am not wrong.Seems his crowd was being attracted by the Percussion performance which just next to him.There are China artist doing portrait and Chinese Rainbow Calligraphy, do not seen any License from National Art Council, as I know local resident who do busking must have a valid license, but seems this guy having an exception.Orchard Central.Some interesting sculpture.My favorite Korean food for lunch at the food court in Concord Hotel (the ex Meridien Hotel);p

Passing by Orchard Road and found this Yoga posing sculpture in front Mandarin Hotel was very interesting.The new hotel at Ochard Road - Grand Park Hotel Orchard which just opened at 10.10.20102 more near by interesting sculpture.

Time flies as arrow, as per second time of night race of F1 in Singapore, you can see the F1 related promotion or advertisement was surrounding the street.

That was a new and fresh feeling while I first went into ion Orchard shopping mall upper floor, it was a little bit ‘science-fi” and contemporary look.

Quick shopping at ION Shopping Mall

Just when for a quick shopping at ion Orchard Shopping Mall today.The upper portion of its building almost completed.Wow! That was a 4 level downwards shopping!Just saw this “Food Opera” at the lowest level.Just tried the Pork Leg in this “Bxxxxxx Bak Kut Teh” outlet after I saw the nice food photo they displayed out.Looks nice!Ops! Didn’t know this “Pork Leg” is actually was a dish that only covered by the skin only, they named it “Pork Leg”!I like this display, it just similar to my caricature drawing style ;pI like to draw beautiful girl! Heehee!Cool Burger King outlook design in ion.Nice look food outlets!

A day of Passing by Orchard Road

Just did palm reading for a dinner and dance at in the hotel at Orchard area.I know the traffic light at road surface for pedestrian who walk from right outside Orchard MRT to Wheelock Place had been closed and everyone have to use the underpass between the new shopping mall ION and Wheelock place. So everyone who is first times came out from Orchard MRT station was very confused, because they do not know the right direction to go to their destination, so do I.

In this so call international standard famous country, seems don’t have any officer to guide you how to use this new underpass, I just remember a comedian in an event said: “Too many people too little time, the entire officer was too busy for everything.” Haaha!

So if you are really in a hurry, for the time being if you want to go Hilton Hotel of forum or Orchard Hotel area, you should use the exit at Shaw Tower.

If you use the exit wrongly, you may take a long time to reach the other side (Wheelock Place) event it just need 5mins walk before this underpass opened.
I was unlucky took the wrong escalator, it brought me to the 4 or 5 level downward bottom floor of ION shopping mall, I unable to walk on the escalator, because the shopping mall’s escalator was moving quite slow compared with MRT’s escalator, moreover, got this kissing couple’s blocking ;(No matter how, someday I will arrange some time to take a shopping in this new ION shopping mall.

Just went Takashimaya’s Kinokuniya bookshop bought some books and found there are ‘Takashimaya Food Festival’ in the basement area.There are ‘Chimmy Cake’ making demo.Some busking artist was doing their art.
