An Interesting Birthday Private Party

I felt great that I had provide my caricature service for a client yesterday under event company's arrangement, glad to met nice guests in this birthday party. Some of my work as below:

While the time I am done, the birthday girl gave everyone a gift to take home and I also got one!

The theme of the party id Addams Family, the client was very creative to put the gift in this glove that represent one of the character in Addams family which the name is "The Thing", that was so cool as well!

Caricature Drawing for Event

Did caricature drawing for event at Sheraton Tower yesterday.

Some of my artworks included some other days work.

One of the parents put all my drawing on the wall in a birthday party.

My caricature drawing is my drawing style, I think as long as it look cute, the works do by my heart and not copy American style, is still can call caricature, in face, any works that do it from your heart, it count, nothing is "Certified Style" which mean "Only exaggerated drawing can be call caricature", the person said this word which do not understand what is art, or just try to insult any of us who not copy American drawing style.

Moreover, talk bad other artists to make people believe they are the best, that is very low class people.

Look! Below this caricature photo taken in KLIA airport when I went Kuala Lumpur last week. It was very nice and feel very comfortable,it is caricature to me.I would say, exaggerated drawing style, was depend on certain type of event or those studio drawing for certain purpose.

Roving Caricature Job

Do a birthday party at Shangri-la Hotel last week. As a professional event artist, you may need to prepare related tools while you do caricature in the related event, one of the common circumstances was client asked you to from doing stationary way to roving way, you properly need a drawing board to clip your paper to do it. For my case, I usually do black & white drawing, hence I just have a custom made waist pouch to put my wax pens and the plastic bag while asked to do roving way.

I think for those who draw in colors, they might need a special design costume or pouch with many portion that able to put their color drawing pens. In my view, that was not easy to do color drawing in a roving way.

Up to now, what I mentioned above is just the basic setting about roving caricature.

Just a Sunday

Did a birthday party at HardRock Café Singapore, just took some photos. Saw this busking artist playing chinese instrument outside Orchard Mrt.ION Orchard shopping centre still in progress.Some beautiful promoters giving leaflets on the road.Nice cute ‘teddy bear’ Christmas tree.Everyone was very busy choosing their stuffs, are you in the pictures?

Did caricature drawing at HortPark for a birthday party last Sunday. That was my first time being here. I found the place was very nice and this park was built not long ago, based on the nice place, the space and the atmosphere, I believe that will be many events and product launched holding here.That was a hot day and sunny day, all the photos was taken under the strong sun.That was a hot day and sunny day, all the photos was taken under the strong sun. Thought this is a very good place to take photos! Bro you might be like it very much! But in my view, you come at day time is better, because can capture the bright and life colors of the various plants.
