That was great to do caricature at Meritus Mandarin Hotel Singapore.The hotel’s expend building still under construction. In fact, the whole Orchard still under construction and make over as well.Met The best display and presentation awarded Airbrush tattoo artists (awarded by me, hee hee!) Ivan and Lee Lee in the event, they treated my lots nice food in Ang Mo Kio after our show.

Hot Day for Caricaturists in Peak Period

As per every year in December which is the peak period for caricaturists’ demand due to many companies having their dinner and dance. This year’s hot day for caricaturist was 5th December, 12th, 13th December and 19th December.

As an event artist, you need to be super duple careful about your booking schedule, if you realized you are having double booking, that was no chance for you to find and replacement because all of your caricature friends also taken in these hot date! That will be a serious problem.

Nothing to envy, not because you are that highly demand but it just happened so many dinner and dance running at the same day, almost same timing which either from 6.00pm to 7.00pm or 6.30pm to 7.30pm.

I think as an event caricaturist, we only can pay extra attention to ensure do not have and double booking that’s all we can do, because the whole Singapore was having dinner and dance in many places at the same time! Meanwhile, no matter how hard we are trying to grab the job, we only able to do ONE show on that day, haahaa! That is part of our event artist live.

I would say, during the peak period, the jobs was looking for artists; during the down period, all the artist was seeking for jobs.

That was great to do caricature for nice guests dinner and dance at Hilton Hotel Singapore.Met my old ‘colleagues’ the musician Michael, Ahmad Sahab and Leonardo in the event.Their jazz music was very nice! That was “The Girl from Ipanema” and the rest of the song.There are some events going on at the Orchard Road.

Event at Regent Hotel

Did and event for Singapore National Eye center’s Dinner and dance, great to met Ivan & Lee Lee lee the airbrush tatto artists in the event! I first time see them doing wire craft! Wow! Luminous wire craft! Very Power! This is my first time seeing such wire craft in my life! Thought it only available by Ivan and Lee lee’s wire craft!!! Don’t play play!

Caricature at M Hotel for Informatic’s Event

Whenever I have an event at The M Hotel, it sure will fall in a rainy day, but yesterday when I do the event there, the weather just nice and no rain! Haahaa!With the welcome bull and none rainy day here, seem my luck will be getting better and better in this bear market! Heehee!Anson Road, which was M hotel located at, had lots building under renovation or building up.Super cool motorcycle! The cyclist was real proud of his cool bike!This is my seat! An event at Marina Mandarin Hotel

Did a pre-event for NTUC-ARU dinner and dance at Marina Mandarin Hotel, this time I am not in-charge caricature drawing, I in-charge fortune telling item, as a palmist; because the theme is Shanghai Night.I am a professional palmist and face reader, not just because of the theme made me swop from a caricaturist to a palmist. I had studied related metaphysics from different masters and spent lots courses fees..

I like Marina Mandarin Hotel’s building design, and the interior of it as well.

For the pre-event activities, other then my palm reading, there also having chinese calligraphy on chinese fan by My Yung Cheong Thye, one of the famous and professional locqal calligrapher in Singapore, and also having ‘dragon bead candy’, chinese flour doll figurine making demo, airbrush fake tattto and glamour shoots around.

Did caricature drawing for Asia Mall Dinner and dance at Carlton Hotel, the theme is ‘Retro’, All the guest had come in retro attire, that was very interesting although I had came across thousands theme based event, I still like to see the guest came in costume, sometimes could be very dramatic feel.The glamour shoot photographer is preparing their stuffs before the event start.I like the ‘Tropical’ designed lounge in Carlton Hotel.
