Lunch at Choi Snack House

Had my lunch at one of my favorite places which is at Blk 532 Ang Mo Kio St52. I had the sweet and sour pork rice today which is one of my favorite dishes. Other dishes I usually order including pork rib rice, sliced fish with onion and gingers etc. Their curry fish head also very good but you have to eat with friends because the size was big in clay pot.I like the food here because the price is reasonable, especially the food was not salty as many coffee shop, the time taken to delivery the food to you is faster then the coffee shop as well.

Chinese New Year is Near

Passing by Raffles City Shopping Centre and found that the decoration had been changed to Chinese New Year Theme.There are some stalls selling Chinese New Year stuffs by artist from China, one of the stall having a portrait artist, looks his business quiet good, thought because his drawing skill is good as well that’s why many people go to him.I have not passing by Vivo City yet, I guest down there should be having some Chinese New Years stalls running be China artist as well, last year was few portrait artists and caricaturists as well, thought this year could be the same.

I passing by Ang Mo Kio Central almost everyday, did not realized there are a road sign likr this! Haahaa!Ah! Saw Mr Lee Kim Kuan doing his large size calligraphy down here as per usual during Chinese New Year nearby period.

Chinese New Year Events Preparation

Chinese New Year is coming in a extra early this year, the eve of Chinese New Year fall on 25th Jan and 26th Jan Monday is the first day of Chinese New Year, there left 23 days from the time I post this blogging.

Just like Chinese theme artists, I need to prepare lots of pre made stuffs, because the Chinese Paper Cutting involved some designs other than the traditional basic patterns. Usually the most popular cutting will be the zodiac based on the New Year; like the coming New Year was year of Ox (己丑年); other than that, the rest of the cutting was mostly about wealth and lucks.My face reading and palm reading display stuffs.My Power Suit! I will become “Power Ranger” while I wear it!! Hia hia hia!Time flies as arrow, so I have to work harder in 2009, haahaa!

Curry Chicken and Toasted eggs

Just cooked some curry chicken and toasted eggs for today, for the New Year eve!Haahaa! I Wish Everyone have a best 2009 New Year!

Event at Bukit Gombak

Did an event at Bukit Gombak area. I passed by Bukit Batok East Park and the lake area which also called “Little Guilin” which has a nice mountain along the lake, so just took some photos.I tried to frame this scene just like a painting.”Little Guilin’ is very nice! Dinner and Dance at Meritus Mandarin Hotel Singapore

That was great to do caricature at Meritus Mandarin Hotel Singapore.The hotel’s expend building still under construction. In fact, the whole Orchard still under construction and make over as well.Met The best display and presentation awarded Airbrush tattoo artists (awarded by me, hee hee!) Ivan and Lee Lee in the event, they treated my lots nice food in Ang Mo Kio after our show.
