Did an event for a children activity at The Pan Pacific Hotel Singapore for a seminar’s children activities section. Met nice guests in the event, that was very lucky am I!
Talking about the drawing speed, that will be 20-25 or slightly more drawing per hour (for the above quality for live caricature drawing), I mean 1st hour, 2nd hour and 3rd hour you got to be maintain in the same speed.
Of course that a lot more artists much faster than me and their 1st hours’ drawing quantity might be much more than me, but talking about speed, that will be stamina concerned; to maintain same quantities drawing to be drawn, it could be quiet tiresome actually. Basically, the temperature of the environment also one of the factor affect your speed of drawing.
As an ambidextrous caricaturist, I do caricature drawing since 1990 in Singapore. Einstien from Norway is the pioneer caricaturist with certain years before me, then follow by Eric Ng, Saik, Poon Ee Way whose were my senior. Chong Jit Leong, which known having shop at Yishun area doing full time portrait and caricature around that time as well if not wrong. Not much people doing caricature for events fringe art during that period. Nowadays, more than 22 active caricaturists in the industry.

The Pan Pacific Hotel's Event
Did a roaming caricature for Oilpods.com’s new year event at The Pan Pacific Hotel. There were 3 different company’s New Year events at the same floor. Met Syria and Eddie Singh, both of them are popular emcee in Singapore, both of them always very friendly to me, they had been in this industry many years as well. A guitarist is singing at the next ballroom of our event. He is a professional. The field opposite Esplanade, near Padang, had parked some “Entertainer” stuffs, guess it was preparing for Chinese New Year bazaars.
